Seller Quick Start Map

Introduction

This quick start map gives you a clear path to follow as a new GBFM seller. It shows you the first steps to take, in order, without any pressure or long explanations. You can follow it at your own pace and return to it anytime.

There is no rush and no need to learn everything in one go. This guide simply helps you see the road ahead.

Step 1: Explore Your Seller Dashboard

Your dashboard is where you will manage products, orders and settings. Spend a moment getting familiar with it so things feel more comfortable.

Look for:

  • Products
  • Orders
  • Settings
  • Profile
  • Delivery options

You do not need to use everything yet. Just knowing where things are is enough.

H2 Step 2: Set Up Your Seller Profile

Your profile helps customers understand who you are and what you make. Keep it simple and honest.

Add:

  • a short introduction
  • a clear photo or logo
  • your shop location
Seller profile edit page showing fields for shop name and details.

Step 3: Choose Your First Product

Start with something simple and familiar. The goal is not perfection. It is learning the process by creating one listing from start to finish.

Focus on:

  • a product you already make
  • clear photos
  • a short description
  • a fair and confident price

If needed, use the Choosing Your First Product Worksheet.

Step 4: Create Your First Listing

Your first listing teaches you how the GBFM tools work. You can improve it later.

You will add:

  • photos
  • title
  • description
  • category
  • delivery details
  • price
Product listing form showing title, images and price fields.

There is no need to write a long description. Clear and friendly is enough.

Step 5: Publish Your Listing

Once published, your listing becomes visible to customers. Most sellers update their listing a few times in the first month. This is normal.

Publishing your first product is the starting point for everything that follows.

Step 6: Understand What Happens Next

After publishing:

  • your listing will appear in the marketplace
  • customers may begin viewing it
  • your first order may take a little time
  • you can update or improve your listing whenever you want

Use this time to learn how the dashboard behaves.

Step 7: Start Small and Build Confidence

You are not expected to publish lots of products quickly. One or two is enough to begin. As you gain confidence, you can improve your listings, add more items and learn new skills.

Small steps build strong shops over time.

Summary

  • Explore your dashboard
  • Set up your seller profile
  • Choose one simple product
  • Create and publish your first listing
  • Learn what happens after publishing
  • Add more products when you feel ready

This map is designed to keep things clear and steady for your first steps.
